The 'Suborno' project has primarily focused on my family's lived experiences of the Bangladesh Liberation War (1971), the migration that followed, and our struggle to settle in Britain.

Until now, I sought to include perspectives of my migrated family, but, following three bereavements in as many years, 'in the eyes of eternity' represents a new era in my life as an immigrant. It is an album of grief, loss, and change.

In contrast to the acoustic pieces I usually create, this is an improvised solo electric work comprised of seven pieces recorded live in one sitting.

What you will hear is the sound of an electric guitar plugged into a chain of five pedals split across two amplifiers. Each track is an unedited single take, with the exception of 'tragedy is temporary' which features two tracks mixed together.
